You know, I'm not point-scoring at all. I have a number of friends who were once in bands, had record deals, toured, wrote, recorded, produced - the works. Even worked with them now and again. They were screwed over, each and every one of them, time and time again. At the same time, there were people who wouldn't even know the meanings of the words chords, time signatures, etc, selling records by the lorry load. They were pretty and ignorant - and the industry gluttons adored that. They're easy to market and don't realise they're being shafted!
I've seen it with my own eyes. I'm not trying to appease or impress anyone. I'm old and wise enough to know that most people, including most probably KH, don't care a jot what I think. It's not going to stop me saying it.
What is rather silly is comparing me to a guy who held a load of innocent people hostage because of some warped ideology. I have no "manifesto" nor have any need for one. I certainly am not going to arm myself and hold people at gunpoint just because I don't agree with them. Not this week, anyway.
Can't we just play nicely?
I don't like fighting, nicely or otherwise, and you probably don't either. I have no problem with you anymore, wasn't too upset to begin with, even though my comments here at the blog were pretty extreme.
I agree- I exagerated in my description of you. I wouldn'y worry though, you're probably the third person to read my blog this year.
