Goat Boy

Hey, remember the 90s? I came across a blog dedicated to cassette singles from the 90s- I saw a lot of songs I hadn't thought about in years. I saw these two also.

Note: I bought Aroura Gory Alice and saw Letters to Cleo back in 1995 at Pearl St. Nightclub in Northampton, MA. It was a good show. The drummer, Stacey Jones, eventually moved to Veruca Salt and played on some Tanya Donelly tracks. Later he started his own band but I forget the name.

Note: I was looking up Stacey Jones and I saw that he is currently the musical director and the drummer for Hannah Montana. I'm not judging (well, a little). I know everybody needs to work and make money. And while I don't have kids (I don't know if Jones does either, I'm guessing) but I know it changes your priorities and you worry about their future and how you're going to send them to college. I looked over the Wiki page for Wally Gagal, the Tanya Donelly producer who was part of Folk Implosion. His producing credits were listed and all the acts seemed to have a lot in common till I saw the name Nick Lache. Did I spell that right? Jessica Simpson's ex-husband. I'm sure it all pays well, and Lache seems like an OK guy- I guess I'm just disappointed to see two guys who I think must be serious about music hooking up with people who aren't. Miley Cyrus is a hack, just like her father. All they care about is the hit song and not the good song.
